The clinic takes over a beautifully restored Victorian building with large treatment rooms which are light, warm and airy, and with a very comfortable and welcoming reception area.
The Wessex Clinic is easy to find next to the St Barbe’s Museum, and has plentiful parking with a public carpark behind. There is an emergency clinic on Saturday mornings.

Hannah graduated from the University College of Osteopathy (formerly the BSO) in London. In addition to being an Osteopath, she is also an experienced Sports Massage Therapist, regularly integrating Medical Acupuncture and Kinesiology Taping into her treatments.
Her passion for osteopathy stems from a sporting background, having received Osteopathic treatment to both maintain her body and recover from injury. Experience with competitive sports at a national level enables Hannah to relate to and understand a variety of injuries.

Since then various courses have been attended, including: Myofascial Dry Needling (Western Acupuncture); Treatment in pregnancy; Paediatrics; Rehabilitation; Soft-tissue techniques and Nutrition.
Victoria developed an interest in the way the body works from a young age through her love of dancing. She became fascinated why some physiques were able to perform movements well, whereas others struggled. A successful visit to a Chiropractor following a severe headache as a teenager strengthened her interest and encouraged her to pursue a career where she could help others suffering in a similar way.

Alizon Murton has 20 years experience as an Osteopath. She is also a qualified medical acupuncturist, yoga teacher, sports injury therapist and animal osteopath.
Being very hands on, Alizon applies fascia and muscular tendinous techniques as well as traditional joint corrections. Remedial self-help is offered on posture, exercise, diet, etc. Pain has a physical and psychological dimension and Alizon has developed techniques to reduce/eliminate chronic pain using a mixture of the above therapies
